Capitol ST-2553 stereo LP, this is the rarer 1968 rainbow pressing with Subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc. ” (when they changed the corporate name), these pressings were only made for 10 months (from the Fall of 1968 to the Summer of 1969 until it was quickly replaced with the lime-colored label); the cover is bright-white, straight and square, it has the number 16 on the back by the RIAA symbol indicating a Jacksonville, Illinois pressing (the record and inner sleeve are also matching Jacksonville); the record (with an “0 in the dead wax) is a stunning NM on both sides (it looks virtually unplayed) and the labels are gorgeous with virtually zero spindle wear, comes with a NM matching Jacksonville goldenrod-orange inner sleeve (by 1968 these pressings were actually given generic-white inner sleeves but I included an original matching inner sleeve), this is a keeper copy.
